QUEER-A-THON Flash Sale
The 1st annual Queer-A-Thon Silent Auction and Variety show aired in late December of 2020. The virtual production featured star-studded appearances by Bruce Vilanch, Carson Kressley, Tiffany Fantasia, Andy Cohen, and Fran Drescher to name a few. The program also included sketch comedy routines and live entertainment from talented artists around the world! Due to an overwhelmingly positive response from the community donating silent auction items, there are still a few items remaining. Anything from weekend stays in Miami Beach to luxury beauty products. The organization will host a FLASH sale in February to give the community one last chance to bid. Proceeds from the silent auction items go to help #preservepride through these uncertain times.
Miami Beach Pride Scholarship Recipient
Pride announces new Scholarship recipient Kenmal Guzman. Kenmal is a STEM AA major at Miami-Dade College. Originally from Honduras, Guzman moved to the United States in 2010. He graduated from Coral Gables Senior High School in the top 30 percent of his class! After Kanmal graduates from Miami-Dade College, he plans to transfer to a four-year accredited university to earn a bachelor’s degree in biology before pursuing a doctorate in medicine.Congratulations Kenmal and keep up the good work, we need more good doctors out there.

Miami Beach Pride Returns!
Miami Beach Pride is happy to announce the Return of its Iconic festival in 2021. Executive Director Rich Walczak states, “ Miami Beach pride celebration is more than just a party, it's about unifying our community and promoting inclusivity” Miami Beach Pride has not released its official dates yet, but says they are optimistic about vaccine distribution and will implement all covid safety measures.
