Queer Art Showcase Returns to Moxy South Beach: A Celebration of Local Creativity, Identity & Community


This April, the vibrant heart of South Florida’s queer creative scene takes center stage as Queer Art Showcase returns for its sixth edition, transforming Moxy South Beach into a living gallery of expression, identity, and imagination.


Set within Miami Beach’s iconic Art Deco District, this free community event is a celebration of South Florida’s homegrown LGBTQIA+ artists, creators who live, work, and shape culture in our own neighborhoods. From bold visual statements to intimate storytelling, the exhibition reflects the diversity, resilience, and joy that define our queer community.


A Platform for Visionary Voices

This year’s showcase spotlights fourteen dynamic artists, alongside GenderChill, an intersectional fashion and arts collective centering trans and nonbinary joy, creativity, and cultural power. Together, they present a wide-ranging collection of photography, painting, sketch work, bead art, and mixed media, each piece offering a unique lens into queer life, history, and futurism.


Visitors are invited to explore, connect, and engage directly with the artists behind the work, creating a powerful space for conversation, discovery, and support. Whether you’re a seasoned collector, an art lover, or simply curious, Queer Art Showcase offers a welcoming environment to experience South Florida’s vibrant creative pulse.
