Miami Beach Pride 2025 Announces Grand Marshals: Sasha Colby and RaeShanda Lias to Lead the Celebration of Love, Inclusivity, and Empowerment

Miami Beach, FL – March 2025 – Miami Beach Pride has the distinct honor to bring trans drag superstar Sasha Colby and acclaimed social justice advocate RaeShanda Lias as the Grand Marshals for the 2025 Miami Beach Pride Festival & Parade. These two trailblazing figures will take center stage as they lead the parade and speak onstage on Sunday, April 6, 2025, celebrating this year’s theme, “Embrace Your Journey.”

Sasha Colby, an icon in the LGBTQ+ community, made history as the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15, earning widespread acclaim for her artistry, authenticity, and advocacy. A fierce advocate for trans rights and self-expression, Colby’s presence at Miami Beach Pride highlights the power of living unapologetically and embracing one’s truth. Following her participation in the parade and onstage speaking engagement, Colby will deliver an exclusive, high-energy performance on the Pride Entertainment Stage later that day, promising an electrifying spectacle for festival goers.

RaeShanda Lias, a fearless advocate and influential voice for social justice, has used her platform to uplift marginalized communities and champion LGBTQ+ rights. As a proud lesbian, mother, NAACP award honoree and entrepreneur, Lias’s work in activism and empowerment has resonated nationwide with her riveting social media presence. Known for her clever white boarding to discuss pressing social issues and life’s small inconveniences, she has captivated millions with her authenticity and no-nonsense takes on a range of issues.  Her selection as Grand Marshal underscores Miami Beach Pride’s commitment to honoring voices that inspire meaningful change.
