SoHo Beach House Celebrates The Faces of Pride
The iconic SoHo Beach House and Miami Beach Pride are joining forces to introduce and celebrate their newest initiative, Faces of Pride. Join us on April 15 at 7pm for BACARDÍ cocktails and a panel discussion moderated by Pride's PeterAnthonii. He will introduce each of the Faces and lead an interactive conversation about underrepresented groups within the LGBTQ Community and we can be more unified and inclusive. Stay after for a performance by Miss Pride 2021, a DJ set Adora De La Torre and dancing. This event will take place on the roof and can also be seen virtually.
FREE at-home HIV Testing Available | Care Resource
National Youth HIV & AIDS Awareness Day (NYHAAD) educates the public about the impact of HIV/AIDS on youth and highlights the work youth do to strengthen the fight against the HIV/AIDS epidemic. With National Youth HIV and AIDS awareness day just around the corner we wanted to take a moment to remind you that Care Resource provides HIV/AIDS and STI Testing at NO COST to you! Screenings are done Monday-Friday 8:15am-4:15pm.
Care Resource is a nonprofit organization and a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with four (4) locations located in Midtown Miami, Little Havana, Miami Beach, and Fort Lauderdale. They provide comprehensive health and support services to pediatric, adolescent and adult populations. For your convenience, mobile testing sites have been reinstated as well as HIV at-home testing. All staff have been fully vaccinated and follow strict COVID safe protocols including temperature screenings, social distancing practices and the use of protective personal equipment, to ensure a safe testing environment for all. The Standard Spa Re-opens
The Standard Spa, Miami Beach is its own private paradise set amidst tropical gardens. The breezy guest rooms feature private terraces, many with outdoor soaking tubs. Coming in late spring of 2021, The Standard Spa, Miami Beach is getting its own iteration of The Standard brand's Café Standard, serving up breakfast and lunch staples sourcing fresh, natural, and local ingredients. Think healthy favorites with a Standard twist whether you need a pit stop mid-run on the Venetian or new favorite spot to work remote. Plus, an intimate, indoor bar will be unveiled adjacent to the hotel's Lobby, serving up crafted cocktails and bites as a go-to for Belle Isle neighbors, hotel guests, and locals to revel in a moody, speakeasy ambience.
The exciting new food and beverage outlets will open in conjunction with the official reopening of The Spa as it debuts a major facelift of their famous Turkish Hammam, Cedar Sauna, and more.

Miami Beach Pride New Dates and Website Launch
Miami Beach Pride is happy to announce its legendary Festival and Parade will return on September 10-19, 2021 with the Parade and Festival weekend falling on September 18-19. Historically, Miami Beach Pride has been held the first weekend in April however, the organization chose to reschedule the dates in an effort to provide the safest environment possible for its attendees. Having a safe and COVID compliant event is the top priority for the organization with plans to implement a full-scale COVID19 Safety Plan including, touchless transactions, increased tent sizes and open spaces, mandatory masks, temperature checks, and sanitizing stations.
Miami Beach Pride made this exciting announcement on their newly launched website that went live on Feb 12, 2021. The website showcases a lot of new and exciting content and has the latest information about the Festival, Parade, Year-round programming, celebrity interviews, and much more!
As the Miami-based Pride organization continues to grow, so does the programming and services it provides. Visitors will be able to look at the full schedule of events that take place during Pride Week as well as RSVP and purchase tickets. Miami Beach Pride also continues to expand on its community programs that benefit LGBTQ youth and continues to promote diversity and inclusion. The all new "DISCOVER" tab features a wide range of fun and innovative content. Visitors can stay current with latest information on Pride week entertainment, year-round events, celebrity interviews, and local LGBTQ-centric news.
