Miami Beach Pride and presenting sponsor VEG (Veterinary Emergency Group) is inviting ALL families to join us for a free picnic that promises fun for everyone - even your fur babies! Come enjoy bounce houses, outdoor games, fun activities, face-painting and craft activities for all to enjoy on Sunday, April 7th.

New this year is a unique partnership with The Humane Society of Greater Miami who will be doing puppy adoptions in Pride Park! Fully vaxxed and looking for their furever home!

Food and beverages will be available for sale at the food trucks: That's My Dog & Cool n Creamy

The schedule of special events includes: 

11 am – 12 pm – Build and Play with Bricks 4Kidzs – Ideal for kids of all abilities wanting to explore architecture, engineering and technology concepts using LEGO® bricks, Bricks 4Kidzs will build on the universal popularity of LEGO® bricks to deliver high-quality educational play, that will develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills around a hands-on model build in sixty minutes!  LEGO® bricks will be supplied.  Age 5+ | limited capacity on a first come first seated basis.

12 pm-3 pm The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Humane Society of Miami present Adoption & Meet and Greet. Looking for a fur companion? Fully vetted and up to date on all medical needs/shots, meet some dogs seeking a furever home.

12:15 pm – 1:30 pm – Collaging for Beginners -Discover the creative, expressive art of collage using a wide range of unique and interesting materials. Led by talented local multi-media artist, Dinorah de Jesús Rodriguez participants will be guided through the entire creative process of assembling a collage utilizing a layering technique. This is a perfect class for beginners wanting to tap into their creativity to make a signature masterpiece of their own. Materials will be supplied. Age 10+ | limited capacity on a first come first seated basis

2:00 pm – 3:45 pm – Bow Wow WOW! Want to create an original work of art of your beloved fur-baby? Join artist David Sexton at this special Paint Your Pet Bow Wow WOW! event. Once you sign up, we’ll ask you to send in a photo of your furry friend. We will sketch your furchild on a canvas before you arrive so you’re all set and ready to go! We’ll help you every step of the way to make sure your finished canvas is pawtastic and ready to hang at home! Age 18+ | sign up in advance HERE | limited to 10 participants

The event will be held from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. in Pride Park 1809 Meridian Ave, Miami Beach, 33139 on Sunday, April 7.
