Miami Beach Pride Announces Billy Porter as Grand Marshal and Headlining Talent for 2024 Festival

Miami Beach, FL - Miami Beach Pride is thrilled to announce that actor, singer, and fashion icon, Billy Porter, will serve a unique dual role as Grand Marshal and headlining talent for the highly anticipated 2024 Pride Festival. The festival, a multi-day celebration of arts, culture, and diversity, will be held on Sunday, April 14, at Lummus Park.

Billy Porter, known for his remarkable talent and groundbreaking performances, has become an influential figure in the LGBTQ+ community. As the Grand Marshal, Porter will lead the colorful and empowering Pride Parade, bringing his unique artistry and passion to the heart of Miami Beach.

In a special performance for Miami Beach Pride, Billy will be treating the audience with music from his critically acclaimed Republic Records debut Black Mona Lisa. which includes the hits "Children" and "Baby Was A Dancer." The rich tapestry of the album combines house, disco, and dance music with Billy’s signature vocal ability in what is sure to be a performance to remember and ONLY able to be seen in Lummus Park in Miami Beach on April 14th.

In addition to the Pride Parade, the festival will feature a diverse lineup of entertainment, community activations, special events, and social mixers. With its reputation as a leading LGBTQ+ cultural arts organization in South Florida, Miami Beach Pride expects to attract over 170,000 attendees to celebrate one love and one community.
