Bentley Jones Helps Miami Beach Pride Celebrate its Return with Epic New Theme Song

MIAMI BEACH, FL, USA + BIRMINGHAM, UK: One of the few good things to emerge from 2020 was the union of Miami Beach Pride and acclaimed UK recording artist Bentley Jones (“a must-listen-to artist” – Billboard Japan, “incredible... one of the most fascinating artists I’ve ever come across.” – BBC Radio). The unlikely pair were serendipitously thrown together during the pandemic, resulting with 2021’s official Pride theme song “One” – the most epic and uplifting anthem you’ll hear this year.

Following a string of electrifying festival appearances, in Spring 2020 Bentley was invited to perform at the Pride Collective festival – an online fundraiser for a set of South Florida Prides. His performance stole the show, with RuPaul’s Drag Race alumni Latrice Royale spluttering “that’s one sexy ginger!” during the live broadcast.

It was that performance that elected Bentley to represent Miami Beach Pride at the historic Global Pride 2020 event. Over 57 million people gathered to watch Bentley’s show-stopping performance of “I Could Be Your Girl” in his trademark stilettos and briefs, along with legends such as Adam Lambert, Kesha, Todrick Hall and more. The Global Pride committee later commented that Bentley’s performance was “f*****g amazing!”.

To celebrate the return of Pride this year, MBP and Ben are continuing their magical partnership with the release of Ben’s new single “One” the official theme of Miami Beach Pride 2021. The heart-warming music video sees people from Miami and around the world embrace the song’s lyrics of unity, equality and acceptance, with the infectious chorus hook “one chance, one heart, one world, one love.” Miami Beach Pride 2021 is taking place September 10th – 19th, with the festival and parade happening on September 18th and 19th.
