LEGACY COUPLES

Miami Beach Prides Legacy Couples program, established during the first Pride in 2009, recognizes same-sex couples who have been in committed relationships of 10 years or longer.

While all of us who are openly a part of the LGBTQ++ community are living and writing the history of our movement, its oftentimes the hidden stories of our queer elders who were at the forefront of the fight for equality and fairness who paved the way for our community to live as feely as we do today.

We currently have 88 couples in our program spanning  Baby Boomers, GEN X, and Millennials.
